About

Since 2005, Delirium Media has been creating wedding videos with

one focus in mind: create the most entertaining and engaging videos

possible. This goal is achieved in large part due to a passion and

committment to training and education. Owner Derek Kovacevic is

a member of WEVA, a guild for wedding video professionals, and it

is through WEVA’s annual convention that Derek learns new and

innovative ways to improve his wedding videos. Derek also makes a

habit of constantly going back and reviewing the work of some of

the industry’s most successful videographers.

After graduating from the University of Windsor with a BA

in Communication Studies, Derek went on to study at the

Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts. While attending,

Derek interned first at Palace Sports and Entertainment as

a camera operator and editor, and then at Fox Sports Net

Detroit as a production assistant. Upon graduating with

the highest GPA in his class, Derek researched the local

video production market and concluded that there was a huge

opportunity to become a leader in wedding and event video

production.
